išrinkimo slenkstis statusas T sritis Politika apibrėžtis Proporcinėje rinkimų sistemoje nustatytas rinkėjų balsų minimumas, kurį partija turi surinkti, kad įgytų teisę dalyvauti paskirstant mandatus. Nustatomas tam, kad būtų galima išstumti neįtakingas, kraštutines, populistines ir panašias partijas. Paprastai net nedidelis (2–3%) išrinkimo slenkstis smarkiai sumažina skirstant mandatus dalyvaujančių ir į atstovaujamąją instituciją galinčių patekti partijų skaičių. Tai mažina atstovaujamųjų institucijų fragmentaciją, sudaro prielaidas valdymo stabilumui ir pan. Įvairiose šalyse nustatytas išrinkimo slenkstis skiriasi – nuo 1–3% (Izraelis, Rumunija) iki 10–12% (Turkija, Švedija). Paprastai didesnis nustatomas rinkimuose dalyvaujančioms koalicijoms (Čekija, Lenkija, Lietuva). Lietuvoje parlamento rinkimuose partijos kandidatų sąrašas gali gauti Seimo narių mandatų (dalyvauja skirstant mandatus) tik tuo atveju, jei už jį balsavo ne mažiau kaip 5% rinkimuose dalyvavusių rinkėjų.
